About Deborah Lyman

Born in Montreal, Deborah Lyman earned her BA in Political Science/Sociology from Queen’s University in Ontario, a BSc. in Physical Therapy from McGill University, and her MSW from Portland State University.

She worked as a physical therapist for 25 years, including hospital, home health, hospice, and early intervention.

She has 16 years of experience as an LCSW in private practice as well as facilitating workshops for couples. She is a certified Enneagram teacher.

Internationally, Deborah worked for two years in the Peace Corps in Sierra Leone, West Africa, and for one and a half years as a physical therapist in Saipan, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.

A longtime resident of Newport, Oregon, Deborah and her husband have three adult sons. Her passions include yoga, hiking, and working in stained glass. She appreciates the privilege of walking on the beaches of the beautiful Oregon coast with her husband and their dog Juno.
